Severance pay calculator (Spain)

Work out in a minute the severance you are owed, from your start date, your salary and the type of dismissal. It applies the 33 days per year of the 2012 reform and, for contracts signed before it, the old 45-day tranche with its transitional rule.

The start date of your current contract. If your recognised seniority goes further back, tick the box below.
Gross pay including extra payments, before withholdings.
As set by your collective agreement. With 12 payments, the extra payments are already spread across each monthly payslip.
Unfair: the court or the company accepts it was not justified. Objective: economic, technical, organisational or production grounds.
Leave 100 if the salary you entered is what you actually earn. Lower it only if you entered a full-time salary and work part time.

To work out your final settlement too

The final settlement is not severance: it is what you have already earned and not yet been paid, and it is due even when the dismissal is entirely lawful. You will find these figures on your last payslip and in your collective agreement.

Leave it blank to use the legal minimum: 30 calendar days (art. 38.1 ET). If your collective agreement gives you more, enter them here.
This year's only. If you have taken more than you had accrued, the difference is deducted.

Fill in the fields and the result appears here, without sending anything.
